Meet Our Mediators

Jennifer Suzor is the President of Bridging Family Conflict and has over thirty years of experience in Windsor and Essex County as a family lawyer, Accredited Family, Child Protection and Intergenerational Mediator. Jennifer also trains new family mediators as the Lead Trainer at INSIGHTful Mediation Training.   Having practiced family law at all levels of the Court from 1988 to 2021, she experienced first hand how difficult that system can be for families and now focuses only on mediation.  Jennifer served as the President of the Ontario Association for Family Mediation (OAFM) from 2013 to 2018 and continued to contribute to the important work of that organization through to 2021. She continues to work on the www.familypeacemakers.ca conference committee, something she was part of beginning during her Presidency at OAFM.  Jennifer is also on the Board of Directors for Windsor Life Centre, a Woman’s Addiction Treatment Centre and the Past-President of the Autism Society of Ontario (Windsor) and the Summit Centre for Preschoolers with Autism.  In 2016, Jennifer received the President’s Award from the Association for Family and Conciliation Courts, Ontario Chapter, in recognition of her volunteer work as Co-Chair of the Walsh Family Negotiation Competition and her vision of creating a series of events in Windsor called “Changing the Culture of Conflict Resolution in Family Breakdown Roundtable Dinner Series” for the Judiciary, Counsel, Psychologists, Social Workers and others who work with family breakdown in Windsor. Krista Konrad is a social worker, counsellor and mediator with decades of experience in Windsor and Essex County working with individuals, couples and families. She earned her Master of Social Worker degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1999 and is also an Accredited Family Mediator with the Ontario Association of Family Mediators. She has years of experience as a child protection worker and counsellor where she worked with families and children with complex issues including domestic violence, abuse, parent/child conflict, separation/divorce, addictions and mental health issues. Krista provides counselling services at Krista Konrad MSW and also teaches the Family Relations Course and coaches new mediators for INSIGHTful Mediation Training.  

Adam McKinley is an Accredited Family and Child Protection mediator with a background in the Family Court system as a former intern with a member of the Ontario Court of Justice as well as experience working with clients who are experiencing family breakdown as a family law clerk. Adam is a proud Windsorite who is active in the community, currently chairing the Dads Matter Commitee.  Compassionate and understanding of the importance of developing parenting plans that work for both parties, Adam brings a calm and non-judgmental attitude to all of his mediations, with a focus on developing better communication for the future. Cindy Nantais graduated from Windsor Law in 1998 and earned a Master of Laws (Family Law) from Osgoode Hall in 2014. Cindy left private practice to raise her children. For more than a decade, she has been a sessional instructor in Family Law at the University of Windsor. She teaches law to mediators at INSIGHTful Mediation Training and also coaches in that program.  Cindy became a mediator to help families in conflict resolve issues in a productive and meaningful way. Cindy is also available to mediate privately for clients with retained counsel in her private practice at CLN Mediation.

Laura Kapetanov is a Social Worker and Accredited Family Mediator with extensive experience working with children and families.  She earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Windsor in 1993.  Over the course of her 30 year career, her focus has primarily been in the field of children’s mental health.  She is also an Accredited Family Mediator with the Ontario Association for Family Mediation. Laura mediates for Bridging Family Conflict, is a frequent Mandatory Information Program presenter and also completes voice of child reports and does child inclusive mediation work.

David Morneau has practiced law for over 20 years with empathy, compassion and integrity, helping families through challenging circumstances with considerable care. He applies innovation and creativity in assisting clients in determining what they need to overcome the obstacles they are facing, empowering them to do so with dignity, honour and a focus on the future and communication, ensuring that they have all information and advice to make informed decisions.  David is an Accredited Family Mediator and brings his vast experience as a lawyer to his mediation practice where he specializes in assisting counsel to develop solutions to complex legal issues. Tim Meloche graduated from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law and he has been practicing as a family lawyer in Essex County since 2009. Tim is now an accredited family mediator who looks forward to helping clients resolve their disputes out of court.  Over the course of his career, he has had the opportunity to assist people from many diverse backgrounds and brings a non-judgmental and understanding attitude to his mediation practice.  When he is not working, he volunteers with various organizations including Scouts Canada, youth sports and other community organizations. Stephanie Feld is a family law lawyer practicing in the GTA as a passionate and dedicated legal advocate who always strives to resolve client disputes—whether child support, spousal support, or division of family property—in the most efficient manner possible.
